About Us
Sustain for Life’s mission is to improve lives and reduce poverty by helping poor and marginalised people and communities in developing countries become sustainably self-sufficient.
We aim to make a better world one community at a time by helping some of the poorest people on the planet to help themselves. Our underlying belief is that people benefit more from the opportunity to help themselves rather than simply relying on the donation of aid. Our primary aim is to give people in need the initial means, knowledge and skills required to develop through their own efforts.
Sustain for Life was established as The Eurochange Charity in 2006. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation with no political or religious affiliations. We have charitable status in England and Wales and are affiliated with Sustain for Life Italy – ONLUS, Sustain for Life Foundation Switzerland and Sustain for Life Charity in Uganda. 100% of all contributions from donors and partners go directly to our projects.
